The Crew at the Cabin
A start with farming has been made with the generous equipment contributions and personalized mentoring of the Finnish Mission Farmers. Their generous gifts of a tractor and many necessary pieces of farming equipment has enabled us begin the farming process
The goal of the farm is to eventually be self sustaining, provide the economic engine to run the camp for children, and to provide a Christian witness and outreach to local farmers as they struggle to recover from 50 years of communist rule.
Farming Outreach
Our Mission: To establish a demonstration/teaching farm that would teach organic and ecologically sensitive farming techniques and crop selection to local and regional farmers based on microeconomic markets: teaching on how to discover and analyze niche markets and then developing niche products for those markets.
